Turtle Bay Cathedral Lanes has been announced as the latest addition for the centre, joining Bistrot Pierre, The Botanist, and Zizzi.

The Caribbean bar and restaurant is the latest high street favourite to join the new dining quarter.

It is part of the development of Cathedral Lanes shopping centre which is split into two phases. The first phase was completed in 2015, comprising Las Iguanas, Wagamama and Cosy Club. Then came along the announcement of The Botanist, Zizzi and Bistrot Pierre.

Now, Turtle Bay is signed up and will open in early 2019. Branding themselves as the ‘best Caribbean Restaurant and bar in Britain, Coventrians will soon be able to tickle their tastebuds with jerk chicken and cocktails. Famous for their 2-4-1 offers and spiced meats, and unique flavours in the jerk pit grill, where meats are marinated for 24 hours.

Carlene Hughes of Savills, who is advising SPG, comments: “We are very pleased with the pre-lets we have secured for Phase 2. Footfall at Broadgate Square has already increased 17% since the first phase of restaurants opened and the development continues to go from strength to strength.”
