Accessibility

Accessibility is an important part of Coventry city centre. Coventry BID want the city centre to be a place where everyone feels welcome and able to enjoy everything it has to offer.

Across Coventry city centre, businesses, venues and public spaces are working to make their spaces more accessible and inclusive for all visitors. From accessible travel options and parking to step-free access and supportive facilities, many organisations are committed to helping make the city centre easier to navigate and enjoy.

Whether you’re planning your visit, looking for accessibility information, or checking facilities before you arrive, this page brings together useful guidance to help you prepare.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking spaces are available throughout Coventry city centre, including various car parks and select on-street locations. These spaces aim to provide easier access to shops, services, venues, and attractions within the city.

We recommend checking the individual car parks or local authority guidance for the most up-to-date information on accessible parking locations and availability before you travel.

All on-street parking is free for disabled badge holders, and there are no time restrictions unless specified on the bay signage. Additionally, parking is free for cars displaying visible disabled badges in all council-owned car parks.
