Coventry Business Improvement District recognised as a UK Business Hero by the British Chamber of Commerce.

The British Chamber of Commerce launched the campaign in October to recognise the incredible work that UK businesses are doing, in the most challenging of years. They are pleased to say that they have received some fantastic stories about businesses and individuals across the UK.

Tributes are being paid to businesses and recognising their contributions by giving them the Chambers UK Business Heroes stamp which demonstrates that that they have gone the extra mile to support their local community during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Coventry BID Director had this to say, “We are overwhelmed and humbled to have been named a Business Hero by the Countess of Wessex after being nominated by Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.

The campaign was set up by the British Chamber of Commerce and recognises those businesses that have gone the extra mile to help during the Coronavirus pandemic. This year has brought numerous challenges to many people, but has also shone a light on those who have gone above and beyond.

As a team we have worked tirelessly to support BID businesses throughout the pandemic, whilst also championing Coventry as the city to watch. In spite of everything, new businesses have continued to be introduced into the city, whilst others used their time in lockdown to re-brand, all with the support of the BID.”
