The Coventry Student Shopping Night 2018 proved successful for businesses within the city centre as they opened their doors to new and returning students to offer some superb discounts, promotions and give-aways, helping to highlight what Coventry has to offer.

With a Greatest Showman theme for the night, Broadgate was a hive of activity with Fairground Rides, Food and Drink, entertainment and stalls advertising BID businesses. With the likes of IKEA, The Yard, Laser Quest, Escape Reality and many more offering prizes, give-aways and tasters the atmosphere was fantastic, especially thanks to the DJ from Samoan Joes entertaining the crowds throughout the evening.

Meanwhile in Lower Precinct students were given the chance to spin a giant jackpot wheel to win prizes whilst being entertained by circus acts, and in West Orchards Brody Swain DJ’d whilst fire breathers entertained the crowds.

The real winners for the evening were the retailers who opened for the evening as the event helps to generate income, awareness and acts as a fantastic introduction to everyone who attends.
