Coventry chosen as host for DLUXE Coventry Magazine – The City’s first luxury lifestyle & Culture magazine.

It has been announced today (Thursday 19th November) that Coventry is to benefit from the launch of a brand new, luxury lifestyle & culture magazine, called DLUXE Coventry.

The title, which already has successful operations in Leicester and Birmingham and is part of the popular FU Media stable of luxury titles, will launch into the city early December 2020 to coincide with the easing of lockdown restrictions.

In a deal struck with Coventry BID, it’s planned that DLUXE Coventry will launch with a monthly e-shot, ahead of the physical magazine launch in 2021 – and the publishers are openly inviting interested parties to get in touch.

Kevin Urquhart, Co-Founder of DLUXE Magazine, comments; “We’ve had our sights set on Coventry for some time now.  It is a city on an upward trajectory, in no small part thanks to 2021 and the UK City of Culture, but also the incredible work done by the Coventry BID team, who we are proud to be developing this title with.  It’s our intention to provide a high quality, stylistic guide to the city of Coventry – something that’s been missing, until now”.

Jonathan Fraser, Co-Founder of DLUXE Magazine continues; “The e-shot – and subsequent printed magazine – will focus firmly on what to do, where to go, what to see and how to live your very best life in the city at this most exciting time.  It’s a snapshot of everything that makes the city of Coventry so compelling.  Further, it will act as a visual reference to the thousands of visitors that are anticipated to flock to the city during the UK City of Culture 2021 and beyond”.

Trish Willetts, Director at Coventry BID adds; “We’re thrilled to be working with the publishers of DLUXE Coventry and welcoming this brand-new title to the city.  It’s a brand that I’ve admired for some time and it’s a sign of how Coventry has developed over recent years, that brings this exciting new platform and its investment into the city.  Here at Coventry BID, we’ve been consistently championing our great city, but this is our chance to show the world why they should be ‘sent to Coventry’ in 2021”.

She continues; “This fabulous title shows everyone the confidence we feel in the NEW Coventry.  We’re certain that this will not only be loved by Coventrians, but also those coming to our great city for the first time.  It’s a huge ‘shop window’ for local businesses and organisations to shout about all of the great things they’re doing – and we’d urge the local community to show their support”.
