Coventry, get ready for an extraordinary celebration of free performances as Imagineer Productions brings the Streets of Cov to life, with an outdoor festival transforming Coventry into a vibrant city-wide stage every Friday and Saturday from 16 Aug to 21 Sep.
This FREE, family-friendly event, supported by the Heart of England Foundation and Without Walls, in partnership with Coventry City Council, offers something for everyone, featuring a spectacular lineup of local, national, and international acts in circus, dance, music, and theatre… no tickets, no booking, just turn up and enjoy!
Week 1: 16-17 Aug
- Stopgap: Kicking off the festival with Frock, six virtuosic dancers from this leading disabled-integrated company in a tour de force punky performance.
- Avanti Display: Get ready for damp laughs with “The Spurting Man,” this quirky act features a spectacular human fountain.
- Motionhouse: Dive into “WILD,” a breathtaking blend of acrobatics and dance, reflecting on our urban jungle and nature.
Week 2: 23-24 Aug
- Cia Kamchàtka: Experience the mysterious and interactive performances of “Kamchàtka” – an award-winning company from Catalonia, challenging our perceptions of how we welcome strangers.
- Fraser Hooper: Enjoy “Funny Business,” featuring a mix of stunts, comedy and boxing guaranteed to make you laugh.
- Abi Collins: Witness the unworldly “Abi Collins Experience,” with her entertaining blend of circus, clowning and traffic cone dancing.
Week 3: 30-31 Aug
- Sonia Sabri Dance: Be enchanted by “Mughal Miniatures: The Princess and the Peacock” – a work of art comes to life with an unexpected twist.

- Simple Cypher: “Roll Play” blurs the boundaries between hip hop and circus, with skills and tricks that inspire, amuse and amaze.
- Jon Hicks: Prepare to be amazed by “International Man of Artistry,” a unique blend of painting, performance and rockabilly style.
Week 5: 13-14 Sep
- Matt Pang & Owen Reynolds: “Those in Glass Houses” is a celebration of glass and its fragilities with a thrilling adventure of controlled destruction. Smash.
- The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band: Blaring brass that capture the vibrant and colourful lifestyle of Jaipur… with a few musical surprises.
- Gobbledegook Theatre: “Cloudscapes” is a contemplative installation about clouds and humanity, perfect for a relaxing and thought-provoking rest.
- Jeanefer Jean-Charles & Associates: “Black Victorians” celebrates a hidden historical story through a powerful dance performance.
Week 6: 20-21 Sep
- NoFit State Circus: “BAMBOO” is a high-impact circus production using bamboo and human bodies to reveal the beauty of our interconnected life.
- Bedlam Oz: “Slinkie Love” features playful giant slinkies in a charming story of love and springiness.
- Linden Dance: “Unboxed” is a dance performance exploring prejudice and judgment with athletic physicality and a powerful soundtrack.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, with special areas for those with mobility issues. Weather may affect performances, and some shows include loud sounds or special effects.
